"The GOP/Tea Party: Tilting at Windmills"

It's time to Break It Down!

This battle is intriguing…in a Pablo Picasso-Don Quixote kind of way.   The Government (at least parts of it), has shut down, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Health Exchanges are open.  Score that the President 1, the GOP/Tea Party 0.

Do you want to hear (or read) my favorite, (self-made) riddle?  Here it is, anyway:

What part of Obamacare do Republicans and Tea Party members hate most?

The answer to the riddle is the "Obama part!"

If you appreciate irony, savor this moment. It is surely golden.

That's it.  No cross-references for the sake of balance, nada to a dozen or more hot links to provide depth, no to witty repartee or interesting side bar inserted expressly for cool points, and definitely zero rapprochement to ease the concerns of the infidels with differing opinions.

This one is for the folks whose candidate of choice actually won the last Presidential Election.  You may remember him as the guy whose signature program (the one every Democratic President since Harry Truman has tried to implement) was:

·         Voted on and approved by the U.S. House of Representatives

·         Voted on and approved by the U.S. Senate

·         Signed into law by the now (two-term...I still like the sound of that) President

·         Upheld and affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court as the law of the ever-loving land!

Enjoy as you read my post and reflect on "The GOP/Tea Party: Tilting at Windmills."  I'm done...really; holla back!
